I was drawn to Butler Academy because of its commitment and passion for bringing equity into the classroom. On top of that, BA emphasizes how important is it to value the social and emotional well-being of its students. I want to be here because Butler Academy is the future of education. The BRAVE core value resonates with me most because it’s about belonging which focuses on community. It is essential for scholars to be part of a community and to learn to work with one another.

I am excited to be a member of the B.R.A.V.E. community at Butler Academy. When considering our core values, excellence resonates most with me. I am a firm believer in setting high expectations for scholars and creating an environment of support that allows them to embrace challenges, learn through failures, and ultimately, create habits of excellence that help them not just achieve, but exceed their goals.
